Visited for The Hundred recently,Birmingham Phoenix v Trent Rockets and had a fantastic evening at Edgbaston and would recommend the ground to any cricket fan. The stadium is situated in the south suburbs of the city and is a straightforward 30 minute walk from Birmingham New Street Railway Station. I was slightly confused that i couldnt access the large club shop on the outside of the impressive blue clad South Stand but friendly ticket office staff informed me if i entered at E4-5 (my seat was actually on the other side of the ground) and turn right in the concourse i could access the club shop inside the ground. Scanning of the e-ticket and bag was quick and easy and,as i was entering the ground in the last few balls of the Womens game,getting into the club shop and purchasing items was also easy,with a great selection of T100,T20,and Warwickshire CCC items to chose Nottingham casino from.

Nice hotel and spa however, lamp was broken in the room on arrival and did not work. This wasn’t much of an issue as we used the wall lights and the tv. The hotel is in a nice location,there is plenty to do around there and the spa is nice just a shame we were unable to use the steam room as it was 11am and wasn’t ready at that time.
Absolutely brilliant stay here over the weekend. Perfect location central for everything we had planned. For a city centre hotel there was pelo outside noise, bed was comfortable and staff friendly and polite. If you are staying near the bullring then this is the place to stay.
It is a good little entertainment place, as there is bowling, mini golf and a cinema. There are a bunch of nice restaurants around to eat. As I live locally, it's one of the best places around/near me.
The manager is very nice and friendly. And there staff are very mannered. I love it there nice and cosy casino ???? clean and well presentable place. I've worked there as a security.
The hotel is located in a prime location and highly accessible from the public transport. The staff is friendly and cooperative and their service was always quick. I would definitely choose to stay at Hyatt next time I am in Birmingham.

Walked round the outside of the West,Raglan & Family Stands to access the north side of the ground where my seat was,in the Stanley Barnes Stand. As it was such a hot early evening i was glad for the water dispersers and though the concourses are mostly open (except the South Stand) there was plenty of space for food & drink huts around the boundary walls which still left a good amount of room for people to move around and get to their seated areas. With a majority of the ground bieng open seating a fully unobstructed view of the pitch was on offer however i would point out the Upper Tier of the Eric Hollies Stand does contain a number of slim supporting roof angles and a row of more substantial columns near the rear which will likely cause a big obstruction of the field of play. Having said that,the modern 3D em linha ticket purchase system should also show up these columns so you know in advance what view you will have. Photos enclosed from my visit.
